MedEx Benefit Consultants (MedEx) are the
Managing General Agents for AccertClaim
Servicorp Inc. (Accerta) which was established
in March 2001. MedEx was established in
November of 2003 and is a wholly owned subsidiary
of Suri Enterprises Inc. which was incorporated
in November 2000.
MedExChoice: MedEx/Accerta's basic defined
contribution plan for small business. Accerta
manages the plan by making an electronic debt
from the customer's bank account
Accerta Plans qualify as Private Health Services Plan (PHSP)
under the Income Tax Act. Contributions are
tax-deductible for the employer and benefits are
tax-free in the hands of the employee.
